A Mundelein man is being held on $300,000, charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Aguileo Guzman, 40, of the 300 block of Walnut Court, allegedly assaulted the girl on May 26 while she was visiting his home, Assistant State's Attorney Ji Un Saw said at a bond hearing today.
The girl "yelled and screamed," prompting someone to come into the room, Saw said.
Guzman told police that he was drunk and blacked out, the prosecutor said.
Guzman was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. He is expected to appear in court on June 27 for a preliminary hearing. ICE has been notified due to Aguileo Guzman being in the US illegally.
