Two Ohio men were arrested this morning at a River North hotel after one exposed himself to a housekeeper and police officers responding to the incident found crystal methamphetamine and other drugs in their room, police said.

Jeffrey Carpenter, 34, of Winchester, Ohio, and Ronald Ralston, 40, of Columbus, Ohio, were arrested on the 400 block of North Dearborn Street. Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of other controlled substances, both felonies. They were also charged with misdemeanor counts of assault and possession of cannabis.

Just before 8 a.m., police were called to hotel after a cleaning lady told her supervisor that a man flashed her.

When officers arrived, they were directed to the suspect's hotel room, where they found a variety of drugs -- crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and generic versions of Xanax, Cialis and Valium -- and drug paraphernalia on a table in the room, police said.

The man and another man with him were then arrested.
