9-month pregnant white mom-to-be robbed by 80-year-old black woman in Kohl's parking lot
An expectant mom said she received an unwelcome Mother's Day gift from an 80-year-old granny - a gun in her face.
The victim, who is nine months pregnant, said she was waiting in the parking lot of a Kohl's department store in Fontana, Calif., at around 11:00 a.m. when an elderly woman shuffled over and pulled a pistol.
"She seemed like a nice old lady that might need directions," Shelly, who only gave her first name, told KCAL television.
"She pointed her gun at me, said 'Excuse me, ma'am. I need your purse,'" the soon-to-be mom said.
Shelly said the hunched codger was wearing black sunglasses and jeans, covering her face with a floral print scarf. After taking Shelly's purse, she made a quick getaway in a Dodge Neon with tinted windows, cops said.
Police were still hunting for the elderly thug, described as a woman in her 80s, very dark, about 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds.
Shelly said she thought she and her baby were dead when the woman pulled the piece and was happy to be alive.
"It's the scariest thing that's ever happened in my life," she said.
