A Harvey police officer on Monday night drove his Chevrolet Tahoe into a Cadillac driven by his ex-girlfriend after she ended their relationship, Will County prosecutors said.
George L. Oliver III is charged with criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and reckless conduct.
Prosecutors said Oliver became upset after the woman ended their relationship and followed in his Tahoe as she drove away from her home in University Park. They said he drove the sport utility vehicle into her car, endangering the woman and her twin 14-year-old children, who also were in the Cadillac.
